Who We Are
We’re not here to do ordinary work.
We’re here to change lives—starting with the next generation.
teen SIDE exists to develop the “Genius Generation”—
a new wave of emotionally intelligent young leaders (ages 21–29) who feel called to mentor, guide, and empower teens through some of the most complex years of their lives.
Through our certification program, we train these young adults in proven coaching frameworks, communication strategies, and real-world life skills—equipping them to become powerful, relatable mentors.
Because today’s teens are navigating more than ever before: anxiety, social media pressure, identity struggles, isolation, and constant digital overwhelm.
They don’t just need advice.
They need someone who truly understands them.
That’s exactly what we provide.
We connect trained teen SIDE Life Coaches with teens to create safe, judgment-free spaces where real conversations happen—where confidence is built, resilience is strengthened, and clarity for the future begins to take shape.
Our mission is simple, but powerful:
To help teens feel seen, supported, and capable of creating a life they’re proud of.
Whether you're a young adult who feels called to do meaningful, purpose-driven work…
or a parent who knows your teen needs more support, connection, and guidance…
This is where transformation begins.
Meet the Founders
"Welcome! Thank you for your interest in Teen Side Life Coaching and for taking a meaningful step toward navigating this beautiful, messy thing called life.
As a wife and mother of six children (one of whom is in heaven), I’ve spent years learning the importance of “putting on my own oxygen mask first” so I can better support others in understanding and working through their own challenges.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Marriage, Family, and Human Development in 2007 and began my career working with individuals in medical settings. Over time, my personal and professional experiences led me to discover a deep passion for helping others find joy, purpose, and meaningful connection in their lives. I began working as a life coach and later completed my Master of Social Work with a clinical focus.
With experience as both a life coach and therapist, I guide and support our Teen Side Life Coaches in understanding their vital role while ensuring clients are connected to licensed mental health professionals when appropriate.
I also love teaching essential life skills and developing engaging curriculum and tools that empower both our coaches and the teens we serve."

"I believe the Teen Side Life Coaches are the “Genius Generation” — mentors uniquely equipped with emotional awareness, life experience, and modern insight that help BRIDGE the growing gap between today’s teens and the challenges they face in a rapidly evolving world.
As a single mother of four, I understand both the concerns parents carry and the pressures teens silently navigate every day.
My vision for Teen Side Life Coaching is to provide young people with mentors who can relate to them authentically, communicate effectively, and help guide them toward healthier, more confident futures."
Merideth
